Squrt Operations and 5" Hose Drill

3-7-06   At around 19:30 hrs, Crews went to the rear parking lot of Timberline Shopping Center for a Squrt Operations and 5" Hose Drill.  The crew refreshed on operating the articulating boom on Tower Engine 2212 and practiced laying 5" hose and water supply tactics.  Crews also practiced hand line operations as well.

Busy Day for Sta. 221

2-12-06    During the mitts of a winter storm, the Duty Crew covering Sta. 221 responded to 12 calls throughout the day.  The day started off at 0:04 hrs with wires down at 515 Mt. Royal Rd.  From then on the Duty Crew consisting of Chief R. Olson, Capt. J. Kustner, FF. B. Eble, FF. J. Merlino, FF. J. Schmidt, FF. S. Valora and Junior S. Layton responded to 7 Wires calls, 3 Public Service Assignments, 2 Assist Police Assignments, and 1 Assist Squad Assignments.

Motor Vehicle Crash

2-2-06    At 23:59 hrs. Rescue 22-18 was dispatched to Barnsboro Rd. cross street Heilig Rd. for a Motor Vehicle Crash.  When crews arrived they found a car that careened into the trees.  Crews stabilized the vehicle and helped the Squad with patient packaging.
